Peter Thomson - September 1946 -

Peter was born on 13th September, 1946 in Invercargill. He was the first child of Esther and Hugh Thomson. He was a very active boy and loved playing with his cousin, Ian Graham who lived close by in Herbert St. Once Peter and Ian took off from their house to explore the Gardens. Their parents were very worried when they didn’t return home at a sensible hour. Finally when they turned up they told their parents that they’d seen ’the wobbilies’ - the wallabies in the Gardens.
